A fast drying primer for iron and steel surfaces which gives uniform coverage and scratch filling properties.
Recommended Usage
All interior and exterior steel surfaces exposed to atmospheric pollutants and climatic conditions.
COMPOSITION
Based on red oxide pigment, extenders and synthetic binder.
MIXING RATIO
Single pack, ready to use.
COVERAGE
12-14 m2 per liter per coat.
FILM THICKNESS
20 to 30 microns per coat.

Mineral Turpentine/White Spirit

PROCESS AND APPLICATION
NEW IRON AND
Remove all dirt, grease etc. by washing down with white spirit or other suitable solvent and wiping with clean rags.
STEEL SURFACES
Remove all rust and loose mill scale by thoroughly chipping, scraping and wire brushing. Prime immediately with Gobi's Gold Red Oxide Primer.
FINISHING
Air dry over night before applying subsequent paint coats.
PREVIOUSLY PAINTED IRON AND STEEL SURFACES
Remove all loosely adhering or defective paint by scraping back to a firm edge.
Remove all rust and loose mill scale by thoroughly chipping, scraping and wire brushing. Prime immediately with Gobi's Gold Red Oxide Primer.
FINISHING
Air dry over night before applying subsequent paint coats.
